FANS of the art of Thai kick-boxing, Muay Thai , will head to the Kilbirnie Indian Centre this weekend to get their fighting fix.
Fans are in for a treat with multiple NZ champions and even a trans-Tasman fight taking place.
The trans-Tasman fight card sees Wellington mother of three, Gentiane Lupi, take on former 3 times world champ Alicia Pestana.
Muay Thai is growing in popularity with fight money now on offer to fighters who previously received nothing for a win or loss in New Zealand.
Mark Hampton from the Muay Thai Institute says a four man tournament will be one of the events highlights.
